Today’s project is a fractal art piece. I had every intention of turning this into more of an abstract work. However, after rendering the fractal, I decided I liked it as is. My attempts to work it into an abstract only seemed to detract from it, rather than build on it. Besides, sometimes fractals are good enough to stand on their own merit.
Creating Fractal Art
Fractals are not *terribly* difficult to create. More than anything, they need a little patience and the time and desire to explore different settings and mathematical formulas. There are a number of programs out there you can use. This one was created using Mandelbulb 3D and post work was done in Photoshop.
